BreizhGo, accompanying you on your TER + bike journeys this summer
From 1 June to 3 September 2023, BreizhGo guarantees a place for your bike! Following its success in 2021 and 2022, the Brittany Region and SNCF are renewing the bicycle reservation system and increasing the number of bicycle spaces on trains. TER BreizhGo gives you the opportunity to take your bike on board easily on all lines.

How does it work?
In order to guarantee a place for your bike and for you, it is compulsory to reserve the place in advance (reservation from 2 May 2023).
Depending on the type of journey, different conditions apply:
✔️ Occasional travel with bicycle or trailer
A reservation fee of €1 is required to board your bike and/or folded trailer. Bicycle access will only be possible if you have a ticket for your equipment, in addition to your passenger ticket.
✔️ Occasional travel with a folded bicycle
You can take your folded bicycle on board trains free of charge and without reservation. It must be folded and preferably carried in a bag.
❌ Tandems or cargo bikes cannot be accepted due to their size.
1. Book your tickets for €1
For occasional journeys with a bicycle or trailer, you must have a bicycle ticket (classic or electric, and/or folded trailer) and a passenger ticket.
These tickets can be purchased directly on the TER BREIZHGO website
We strongly advise you to book the bike ticket before the traveller's ticket and at least 48 hours before departure.
2. Put your bike on the train
On the day of your journey...
- Plan to arrive 20 minutes before departure to make it easier to settle in.
- Label your bike and trailer with a luggage tag (available at the station)
- Remove your luggage and panniers from the bike and fold your trailer
- Locate the bicycle pictogram on the train and board at this point
Staff will also be on hand to collect cyclists' bicycles from a dedicated area, identified by SERVICE TER BREIZHGO + VÉLO stickers.
The rail routes concerned are Rennes <> Saint-Malo, Rennes <> Brest, Rennes <> Quimper and Quimper <> Nantes.
