Regional trains services in Pays de la Loire

From 1 May to 28 September 2025, TER Pays de la Loire offers you the opportunity to board your bike throughout the entire ALEOP network with the exception of two lines where this service is not available:

• Line T1: Nantes - Nort-sur-Erdre - Châteaubriant
• Line T2: Nantes and Clisson

Visitors can take advantage of a service designed to safely accommodate bicycles. Bring your bike on board for €1 all summer long!

From May 1 to September 28, 2025, reservations for your bikes are compulsory. In addition to your ticket, you'll need a valid reservation for each bike and/or folded trailer. ⚠️ Correspondence journeys: if you make a connecting journey, you must make 1 reservation/path.

How does it work?

Before boarding, cyclists will entrust their bikes to a team who will place them in a dedicated area of the TER.

The initial capacity of some regional trains will be increased to 16 bicycle spaces.

✔️ This service must be booked before boarding the train and is subject to availability.

✔️ Folded and dismantled bicycles are accepted without reservation. They must be stored in a 130*90cm size bag.  

❌ Tandems or cargo bikes cannot be accepted due to their size.

💡 Avoid peak times (from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends and holidays)
