From 29 April to 30 September 2023, TER Pays de la Loire offers you the opportunity to take your bike on board easily on the following lines:
- Line 8 : Nantes - Les Sables d'Olonne
- Line 10 : Nantes - Pornic
- Line 11 : Nantes - Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie
Travellers to these three destinations will be able to take advantage of a service on board in some TER trains, to accommodate their bicycle in good conditions. Take your bike on board for free and without reservation for the whole summer!
🆕 New! A free on-board bicycle reservation service is available and highly recommended. Qualified staff will take care of placing your bike on board so that it travels in good conditions (Réservations open on 25 April 2023).
How does it work?
Before boarding, cyclists will confirm their bikes to a team who will place the bikes in a dedicated area of the TER.
Some of the trains will see their initial bicycle capacity increased and will offer up to 16 bicycle places.
✔️ This service is free of charge, without reservation and accessible to all within the limits of available places.
❌ Tandems or cargo bikes cannot be accepted due to their size.

A word of advice: avoid peak times (7am to 9am and 3pm to 5pm on weekdays, and 5pm to 7pm at weekends and public holidays).
