In forest

Most of this loop offers a variety of surprising landscapes. Passing through the pines, you'll come to the exceptional Soustons lake, where you'll be amazed by the breathtaking views and the peacefulness of the natural surroundings; then on to the Vieux-Boucau marine lake, where you can enjoy a swim... unless you'd prefer to take a dip in the ocean!

Loop route

At Messanges, leave La Vélodyssée and head towards Azur through the pine forest, which is a little hilly (warm up your calves a little), to Lake Soustons.

Cycle back along the lake towards the Pointe des Vergnes in Soustons. Take a second break in this wooded garden overlooking the lake.

Then get back in the saddle and head for La Vélodyssée in Vieux-Boucau along the Itine'rêve artistic trail. Along the way, you'll find sculptures designed by children and created by students.
