Itinerary

Please note that the city of Bayonne has numerous cycle paths that allow you to easily explore the city. Note the bicycle repair shop along the Allées Marines (check the opening hours at https://txirrindola.org/l-atelier/#fonctionnement).

Be careful, shared roads are used when crossing Biarritz; the city center is in a 30 km/h zone; the Vélodyssée is marked with cycle lanes, but car traffic remains heavy in summer and some streets along the route are narrow (particularly Port des Pêcheurs). If you ride the Vélodyssée in a south-north direction, still do the loop to be able to follow the coastline; but be careful with children: busy streets are not safe. Cycling around Biarritz can be quite challenging, with its many hills.

Connection

The connection to Biarritz station is mainly on quiet shared roads, with marked hills.
